I design products that are easy to use and hard to leave.

Areas of expertise

Most product problems are design problems. The interface is confusing. The flow loses people. The thing works but nobody knows how to use it. Fifteen years of building and shipping products means I've developed a feel for what makes people stay, come back, and tell others.

I design interfaces that are obvious to use, flows that reduce friction, and products grounded in what users actually do. If your product works but doesn't feel like it, that's where I come in.

I work best when the problem looks like one of these:

  • Users drop off before they reach the value
  • First-time users don't know where to start
  • Features ship but nobody uses them
  • The interface makes sense to the team, not users
  • Growth has stalled and the product might be why

About Me

I design products, write code, and lead product teams across startups and scaleups in health, education, and tech.

Five bootstrapped exits. A digital health platform scaled to acquisition. Over a thousand students taught at Surrey Business School and Exeter University.

I'm most useful when a founder has a dev team and a vision but needs someone to connect the two. If your product isn't as good as your idea, let's talk.

App UI/UX Audit

90 minutes, $350 per session

A focused 90-minute audit of your app's interface and user flows. Share your app before we meet and I'll come prepared with observations. In the session we'll work through where users are getting confused, where you're losing conversions, and what to fix first. You'll leave with a prioritised set of specific changes and a clear sense of what matters most. Suited to founders with a live or near-live product who suspect the design is costing them users or revenue but aren't sure where the problem is.

Product Strategy Session

60 minutes, $200 per session

Get clarity on your product direction. Bring your biggest strategic question: what to build next, how to prioritise a crowded roadmap, whether your current direction makes sense. We'll work through it together. This isn't a workshop or a presentation. It's a working session. You'll leave with a clear point of view, a sharper sense of what matters most, and enough direction to make the next decision with confidence. Suited to founders and product leads who are stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a sharp outside perspective before committing to a direction.

Common Questions

I've spent 15 years building and scaling digital products, including a B2B SaaS platform I scaled and sold to users across 30+ countries. I specialize in integrating AI into existing systems and building AI-driven tools that automate expert services and turn unstructured data into actionable insights.

I focus primarily on health, education, and tech startups and scaleups. My background includes teaching entrepreneurship at major universities and building products in these sectors, so I understand both the technical challenges and regulatory complexities these industries face.

I combine data science with system design to create evidence-based growth strategies. Rather than relying on assumptions, I build analytical models that reveal what's actually driving your business, then design systems and processes that scale those insights into repeatable decision-making frameworks.

I don't just give advice—I build solutions. As both a product designer and developer, I can create the actual tools, dashboards, and systems needed to implement strategies. My neuroaffirming approach also means I work with how founders actually think and process information, not against it.

I approach design through the lens of clarity and evidence. Every interface decision is backed by user data and business logic. Having taught over 1,000 students and built products used globally, I focus on designs that not only look good but measurably improve user outcomes and business metrics.
